Wow! Where did all the time go!?

Rude stuff has taken a back seat for now, as I keep getting ideas for how the actual game plays. I've even decided that combat will be more of a focus than romance (But that's not to say it won't be in.)
Okay, here we go.
So, after working on each woman's individual quest, it felt a bit flat, that that was... that.
Until I took another look at the Shadowy Forest and had an idea.
What if, when you complete their quest, you can add them as a party member in certain Adventure Areas (Temp name.)
These areas will not be on the way to the goddess, so technically, as a loop hole, The Brave can take anyone he wants with him!
(I am planning a fun loophole so you can take them towards the goddess, too. But that's for much later.)
These Adventure areas will get increasingly harder, so hard, The Brave will certainly need some backup.

Here's a screenshot of a party select screen I whipped up on a test map. As time goes on, more members will become available.

And at the end of each Adventure Area, you will be able to pick a powerful bonus for The Brave!
Maxi has been fleshed out more, and exactly how I wanted her to play has come to fruition! The more she attacks, the more powerful skills become available.

Maxi's quest has had an overhaul, too, and involves fighting a vampire and his thralls, at the request of an orc chieftain (Who is also Maxi's ex!)
As for Maxi herself, she's had a small change, and is now more buff!

Obviously, you can't see how animated they are in the screenshots...
But... you'll get the chance!

Oh, and sometimes you will get these new dialogue options that will help you shape The Brave and his virtue.

There's a bunch more I've done, too, as every map will have something new to it. But there's still loads more that needs to be done. I'd also like to keep most of it as a surprise. Let's see what can be done over the next month, Hopefully, I'll be close to a release by then. Certainly not putting too much pressure on myself, I'm having a lot of fun doing this.

Thanks! It has certainly crossed my mind, and it is a possibility. However, I'm not too sure on what I would do with it long term. Thanks for asking, though. I'll keep it in mind for now.
Holy moly love these updates! The screenshot looks amazing! Love the lil bonuses you get after each "adventure area", as its kinda like assigning classes to the Brave. As a Maxi fan, love her side quest and alternate outfits! And the battle icons!
I like the little loophole idea, as certainly the brave needs more companions on his journey to the Goddess, so I hope you keep it in! A 4-person party is exciting to me, as it can play more into the story (maybe 4somes? loll or even combined attacks! Maybe sneaking-off in the party's camp for some fun? Or just plain tough battles that needs the potential of a full party.)
Anyway, really glad you're having fun! Excited for the progress keep at it!
Thanks, Chickensalad! Yea, that's what I'm intending for replay-ability, as if you're building your own class of Brave.
I also want this game to be fun and not take itself TOO seriously, so some fun ideas like the loopholes can pop up storywise. 4somes are a fun idea... but they'd be tricky to implement with so many variations. It's a thought for the future, though. For now, tough battles is the main thinking! Thanks again!
